Helping fire-affected small biz survive and thrive
Today we formally share details of our helpasmallbiz initiative – aimed specifically to help the many, many small and micro businesses that have been directly and indirectly impacted by the recent bushfires.
Our HASB mission is to fill some of the gaps in our system of recovery – providing support to the growing number of small and family businesses who don’t meet fire-impacted eligibility for grants or government funding.
These include small and micro businesses that are the economic and social heartbeat of the many communities around Australia.

The statistics are scary with US research stating 40% of small businesses impacted by disasters don’t reopen with 80% closed within two years. We cannot let that happen to our communities.
