Solutions for Communities

Co-Designed Grants Program

$Costs included in application

Does your community kind of know what it needs, but don’t know how to structure it or who can lead you to achieve it?

At C2C we help communities who need help.

For many communities this means referring them to a pro-bono grant writer who can support them with their application.

For other communities their need is more.

Our Co-Designed Grants Program is a solution to help communities that want support to:

  • Create a new program
  • Apply for funding for the program
  • Implement the program
  • Acquit the program
  • Build local capabilities in resilience

When we collaborate with a community to co-design a grant program, we always include a paid role within the community.

We do this because it means we can build local capabilities from day one.

Contact us to hear more about how we can co-design grant programs to benefit your community.

Over the past six months we have collaborated with six communities to submit co-designed grants programs. It’s so rewarding to meet community leaders and support them in developing programs and apply for funding to meet their needs – outcomes that sometimes include a touch of pink!

Community Liaison & Resilience Coordinator, corporate2community

How does it work?

It starts by connecting with your community and hearing your needs.

We then let you know what’s the best path forward.

That could be to introduce you to one of our fantastic grant writers who can help you to draft your grant submission.

For other communities we start by hosting a 1 hour online video session to understand what you are wanting to achieve.

We look at what already exists and what gaps you have.

Together, we identify grant programs and co-design a solution with multi-stakeholders from within the community. We always involve Local Government, Emergency Services and other associations like Business Chambers.

We then create a program and source potential grant funding opportunities.

As a social enterprise C2C can apply for many grants in collaboration with communities.

Should funding be awarded, we work with the community to deliver the program while building local capabilities through hiring local contractors as an extension of the C2C team.

Your need for us may end there as we can help you on your way.

Or, we may book in a follow up 1 hour online video conversation with your community to start to develop a Co-Designed Grants Program solution.

Why does C2C co-design grants programs with communities?

We understand that communities need help – to better prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters.

We also know grant writing can be complex, time consuming and competitive.

Our experience in establishing grant programs and understanding of the disaster resilience sector can bring great benefit to communities.

1: We can help you design a program that will meet the needs of your community while adhering to the grant funding guidelines

2: We can make your submission stand out from the crowds

3: We can help with strategic support to enable you to deliver the program effectively and efficiently within you community

As a social enterprise C2C is committed to re-investing at least 50% of our profits back into building resilient communities.

This solution is one of the many ways we achieve this.

How does the grant funding work?

As we work with your community to develop your program and grant submission, we identify what role you need C2C to play.

Within the submission we include our costs to deliver the support as identified (and approved) by your community.

In all our submissions we include a local person as an extension of the C2C team.

Why? Well we want to build sustainable capabilities within your community from day one.

What if I need to change the way this solution is delivered?

We are all about working with communities to deliver the best outcome for local-led resilience buiding.
