Need help to map out the future resilience of your community?

Are you currently in the process of mapping out the priorities for building resilience in your community over the next 2-5 years? This is a huge task and can be overwhelming with all the different stakeholder groups and community voices contributing to the discussion.

At corporate2community (C2C) we are experts in stakeholder engagement, and we can help you to create an easy-to-use and relevant Strategic Action Plan (SAP) that supports the everyday operations of your community organisation.

We start by gaining an understanding of the people in your community (refer to our Community Stakeholder Map solution). Once we know the backstory and the different stakeholder groups that make up your community, we run online workshops and surveys to listen to the feedback and help the community reach a consensus.

The Strategic Action Plan will include the agreed upon community priorities, the steps to be taken, the existing capabilities and the gaps and additional recommendations about what outside help is available.

The benefits of a third party such as C2C to help create a plan is that we can manage the varied stakeholders without bias and provide an objective voice to help reach a consensus and identify the responsibilities of each community group to deliver against the plan priorities.

Output: a document that provides a Strategic Action Plan for the community and clearly sets out the steps for delivery and who is responsible.

How does it work?
There are 4 steps which can be activated within two weeks.

1. We host a 1.5-hour online workshop with 2-4 community representatives to map out your community stakeholders, understand existing capabilities and gaps in your community. We will ask you lots of questions about the role of various stakeholder groups within your community.

2. We connect via phone with up to 10 local groups representing key stakeholder categories. These 15-minute conversations will enable us to gain a deeper understanding of how they see the future of your community and what they think the priorities should be.

3. We email a first draft of the Strategic Action Plan to the 2-4 community representatives including community strengths, gaps and opportunities. We ask you to share with your wider community and invite feedback from all community members via an online workshop and survey.

4. We email a second draft of the Strategic Action Plan to the 2-4 community representatives for final approval. We then host a 1.5-hour online conversation with unlimited community representatives to talk through the plan and answer any questions you have. (FREE)

Who will help from C2C?
At C2C we have a collective of experts across many fields including stakeholder engagement and strategic resilience planning. You will be introduced to the C2C member who will create your Community Strategic Action Plan by Mel when she books in your workshop session times.

If you have any questions, please email [email protected]

What happens after I book?
We will connect with you within 72 business hours to arrange a convenient time to run your first and second online workshop. This means you will know when we are starting and when your Community Strategic Action Plan will be complete.

We will also share with you more information about the types of questions we will ask during the first workshop so you can prepare relevant information to share. Note, we do not ask you to complete any forms during the process, that’s what we are for!

Why does C2C offer a FREE second workshop?
We are a social enterprise which means we give 50% of our profits back to building resilient communities. Providing a second workshop for FREE enables us to give back and upskill your community leaders in the benefits from understanding who is in your community.

Renae understands the power in connecting the corporate world with communities.  She is a great networker, generous with her time and not afraid to dream big!
