About The Program
Local businesses across the Blue Mountains are invited to participate in the creation of a new resilience hub to help them prepare for future disruptions and disasters.
C2C, in collaboration with BusinessBM, has been funded to establish the Resilient Alliance: Blue Mountains to empower local businesses, including Indigenous businesses, to better prepare, connect, and build resilience within their communities.
Having more than one source of revenue is a key part of business resilience. This initial program will capture existing knowledge and capabilities from Blue Mountains-based businesses, with an initial focus on Business Tourism.
These findings will drive the development of resilience-focused learning programs/toolkits, with local business leaders, owners and operators up-skilled to deliver the programs within and outside the Blue Mountains region.

I’m looking forward to connecting the Blue Mountains to make the most of this exciting project focusing on business tourism.
I understand challenges experienced by First Nation organisations, their staff and their families when they attempt to do business with the mainstream sector.
This Bushfire Local Economic Recovery project is jointly funded by the Australian and the New South Wales Governments.
